Deliverance Comes, When?

Evangelism, is very important to the body of Christ. It is one of the five ministry gifts listed in Ephesians.

What are we winning the "lost" to?

Are we the church, the answer, or is Christ?

We often think if we can just have a bigger meeting, that, that is success. So long as we top last years numbers we are successful. But Jesus oft left the large gathering for the sake of the few disciples who followed Him. The truth is we can do many things in our flesh that appear to be fulfilling the mandate to go unto the world.

Ministry can be a seductive thing. Men can easily feel that they are the one who deserves credit for ministry. Yet, only Jesus is worthy of glory. It matters not how many people we get to our event, if nothing of the spirit is transferred. If people are delivered in our ministries, remember Christ is the deliverer.

We must ask ourselves these questions:

Whose life is changed? Was the Holy Spirit present? Was God glorified through our actions? What do we accomplish by our times of large group gatherings?

Godliness with contentment is great gain. Anything done in our flesh will not bring peace or deliverance to anyone. Anything we do without the Holy Spirit will not be contended, yet, nor will it have any effect for the kingdom.

Kingdom people are not about building anything. The kingdom is...

It is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. You can't have the kingdom without the Spirit of God. You know when the Spirit comes, for deliverance comes.

The Kingdom Gospel must be preached. If there is no deliverance, resulting from our evangelism, we have not brought the reality of the kingdom to others.

Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Luk 11:20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
